Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the Salesforce Development Team in creating custom solutions and delivering high-quality Salesforce implementations. You will oversee the full development lifecycle, manage a team of junior developers, and ensure all Salesforce customizations are built using best practices. You will serve as the key technical resource in the design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce solutions, ensuring that these align with the client's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Salesforce Development Team: Manage and mentor junior developers in Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, Lightning components, and data migration, ensuring the use of best development practices.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure smooth collaboration through all development phases.
- Design and Development: Develop custom Salesforce solutions that align with client requirements and best practices. Design user interfaces, customized applications, and integrations with internal Salesforce systems.
- Solution Design: Facilitate design sessions, perform code reviews, and provide architectural designs for innovative and scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Technical Oversight: Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to development, adapting quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining project goals.
- Issue Resolution: Assist the Support Team with escalated issues relating to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.
- Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients, end users, and managers to gather project objectives and specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Take ownership of the quality of deliverables, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and meet client specifications.
- Estimation and Delivery: Provide estimates of work effort for new projects and enhancements, follow an iterative development methodology, and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Status Reporting: Regularly provide updates on the development effort and deliverables to the stakeholders.
Technical Skills Required:
- Salesforce Expertise: Proficient in Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Partner Communities, B2B Commerce, and Service Cloud.
- Programming: Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Java, JavaScript, and Object-Oriented Programming methodology.
- Integration and Customization: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce integrations, data modeling, customization, and security practices.
- DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Salesforce DX, and automated testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience with Oracle SOA and cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or Lead Developer.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Summary
The Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and submission of payroll tax returns for Paychex’s Full-Service clients. This includes managing quarterly and annual filings, staying compliant with tax laws, and supporting clients with tax inquiries and registrations. The role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Tax Filing and Compliance
- Prepare and file all payroll tax returns, including Federal 941 and 940, state withholding, state unemployment, and local withholding for Full-Service clients.
- Submit wage information to the SSA and print and distribute W-2s to clients.
- Stay current with tax laws and ensure compliance in all tax submissions.
- Client Support and Issue Resolution
- Assist clients with tax registrations, respond to tax notices, and resolve any related issues.
- Address client inquiries in a timely and effective manner to enhance client satisfaction.
- Record-Keeping and Reconciliation
- Reconcile payroll tax-related general ledger accounts and maintain organized, accurate payroll tax files.
- Support audit preparation, year-end schedules, and related processes.
- Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned, in alignment with company policies and teamwork standards.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3-5 years of experience, or high school diploma with equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills
- Required: Knowledge of accounting principles, experience with Microsoft Office and Excel, and familiarity with reconciling financial accounts.
- Preferred: Experience with Master Tax software and payroll processing knowledge.

- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and handle pressure effectively.
Work Environment and Schedule
- Location: Primarily indoors at the Highland Hills Office.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and lift, up to 25 pounds.
Compensation Details
